Use this packet to organize and support your fundraising efforts.

Instructions

After registering for the current Pennies Per Page™ Read-a-Thon, print the following items:

Pennies Per Page™ brochure (Coming Soon)

This brochure describes the purpose of a Pennies Per Page™ Read-a-Thon. Print as many as you need, to give to potential sponsors.

 

Pennies Per Page™ Pledge Form

Use this form to record and track pledges. Ask friends, family, businesses and neighbors to pledge a penny (or more) for every page read during the dates of the read-a-thon. Print as many as you need. Pledges can be solicited before and during the read-a-thon, even on the last day!

 

At the end of the Read-a-Thon, report your total pages read and collect the pledges from your sponsors.

 

If a sponsor prefers to pay in cash, simply deposit the cash into a personal account and send these funds to your Pennies Per Page™ account via personal check or through the online payment form.  Record this check on the pledge sheet.

 

Use this form to record the total pages read and the donations collected. Mail the completed form, with all check payments to Pennies Per Page, PO Box 701619, Salt Lake City, UT 84170.

Use this form to list book titles and the number of pages you intend to read. Show it to prospective sponsors. Sponsors love to see the books you plan to read!

 

Sample Thank You Letter

This is an actual thank you letter that a Read-a-Thon participant sent to a sponsor. It is recommended that you send a thank you letter to each of your sponsors. This sample will help you write your thank you letter. You may wish to include a short description of your experience reading the books, and/or something you learned while reading.
